Manchester City beat Leicester City 2-0 at Etihad Stadium. The Citizens remained five points behind leaders Chelsea. Captain Vincent Kompany was on bench, while Wilfried Bony having his first start since he joined City this January. David Silva opened scoring for Manchester City just before first half was ended. It's his tenth Premier League goal of the season. James Milner was brought to the pitch at 72nd minute, to replace Bony. Milner added more goal for The Citizens at 88th minute, assisted by Jesús Navas with a precise cross. |

Liverpool beat Manchester City 2-1 at Anfield, and climbed up one place above Southampton in EPL Table. Jordan Henderson opened scoring for The Reds at 11st minute, assisted by Raheem Sterling. Edin Dzeko cancelled out the Liverpool captain's effort at 25th minute with a equalizer, assisted by Sergio Agüero. At 75th minute, Liverpool's Brazillian striker, Philippe Coutinho scored a world class goal from outside the box, passed City keeper Joe Hart to seal the final results as 2-1. Raheem Sterling assisted in Liverpool's both goals. |
